Hello all, I'm a newbie, living in Portslade, Brighton.
I love making stamped gift tags and felt decorations but I also dabble in knitting and other bits and bobs. Making is very inspiring isn't it? Anyhoo, the reason I'm posting here is that I have just received my free book when I subscribed to the mag and joined the forums. I chose 'Handcrafted Cards, Bags, Boxes and Tags'. Unfortunately it isn't really my cup of tea (I'm not complaining! It's a freebie after all!) so I was wondering in any of you crafty lot would do a swap with me? I'd like the 'Making Vintage Bags' one. Or I would consider swapping for a book that wasn't in the subscription deal. I'm keen on paper craft, knitting, sock creatures...no pink fluffy kitten type stuff though!!!! Maybe this could be the start of something beautiful? A permanent place to swap books and patterns? I tried it but obviously knitting wasn't for me! I would cast on 9 stitches and end up with like 29 and have no idea how  let me know, I really wanted the book you got but thought I would try the bag one. Hi milly, I don't really get the idea of mug hugs!!! And I'm afraid I'm not really interested in soap making. Ah well. Did you want to swap for the bag one?
Don't worry if not, I can always sell it and buy a different book. I'm off work sick at the moment so I'm re-reading all my Making mags  All the best x All the best! |
